'Cos he's sitting on his own again this evening
Am C G
And I know you're gonna let him bore your pants off again
Am C
Oh now, it's half past eight - you'll be late
G
And tho' you say you're not sure
Am C G
Tho' it makes good sense for you to live together
Am C G
Still you've bought a toy that can reach the places he never goes
Am
And now it's getting late
C
He's so straight

You wanna go home
Well at least there's someone there that you can turn to
And you never have to face up to a night on your own
Jesus, it must be great to be straight
Do you remember...
(From here it goes into a quiet plam muted sort of bit with the same
chord
pro, then back to the chorus...)
(The lead line at the end is a bit tricky, and I haven't managed to
wort it
out yet ... mail me if you know how!)
This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official PULP tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
