G
Well the sun came up and I got my haircut, something told me that I could use
C
some change.
G
I feel a little strange.
I am a little bit wired and a little bit tired, that’s typically me after a six

G
Do you know what I mean?
D C G
I’m a little hungover, but I guess that’s the way that it seems.
C G
Chorus(1): My mom and dad said to find a beautiful wife.
C G
And I plan on doing that later on in my life.
Bm C Bm C
But right now I just want to be free, trying to paint my masterpiece.
Bm C G
Writing songs about the places and the things that I see.
G
There’s a lot of bands that I’d like to see, but I can’t see them when I am
C
sitting here playing my guitar.
G
In the smoky bars.
I had a couple of girlfriends but they didn’t last, they got tired of putting
C
up with my attitude.
G
Because I did what I please.
D C G
Now I am a little hungover and the taxi cab’s got my keys.
C G
Chorus(2): My Brothers told me to find a beautiful wife.
C G
And I plan on doing that later on in my life.
Bm C Bm C
But right now I just want to be free, trying to paint my masterpiece.

I have a Siberian Husky and a Japanese Akita, and they pull me down the street
C
on my wheels in the middle of the night.
G
It’s such a crazy site.
Smoke one if you got it believe it if you need it, leave it if you dare because
C
life is a box of rain.
G
and we are all insane.

I am a little hungover and I just took a leak in the drain.

This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official RICH HARDESTY tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
