RIDE - "drive blind" Tablature
Official RIDE Tablature & Sheet Music »
From: BaxterMA@phymat.bham.ac.uk <Mark Baxter>
Subject: Ride - Drive Blind (from the EP 'Ride')
Quite an easy, yet classic song from the band's debut EP.
An acoustic version from Creation 'Undrugged' at the Royal Albert Hall
can be found on 'I Don't Know Where it Comes From' CD#1.
Intro (Tab)
This is repeated at various points all through the song.
This might be tabbed(?) for the wrong position, but the notes themselves
are correct.

[The F#/E/B/A bit again]
Can you see the light of the blue ....
Behind. Oooh .....
[Keep repeating F#/E/B/A but for the last time
eack chord lasts for 4 times the length.]
That's yer lot for now. If you download this, please mail me -
just so I know if anyone does actually use it. Also mail me if you
are a student at Birmingham University and wouldn't mind being in a band
to play this sort of stuff (I can be a guitarist or bassist). The band I am
in at the moment is too rock based and I wouldn't mind playing stuff I like.
Cheerio,
Mark Baxter

This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official RIDE tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
