The main guitar for the song is a heavily distorted electric - hence you've got
to play the song with lots of palm muting and avoid sloppiness or else it's
going to sound like a mess.
The riff going into the first verse is:
+ + + + + + + +
|-----------------|-------------|
|-----------------|-------------|
|----/6--/6---4p2-|-------------|
|-----------------|-2-----------|
|-0---------------|-0-----------|
|-----------------|-------------|
Play the following over the verse:
+ + + + + + + +
|-----------------|-------------------------|
|-----------2-3-2-|-------------------------|
|-----------2-2-2-|-------------------------| x2
|-----------2-2-2-|-------------------------|
|-----------------|-------------0-------0---|
|-----------------|---------3h5---0-3b------|
+ + + + + + + + + + + + + + + +
|---------|---------|-------------------------|-------------------------|
|-3-------|---------|-------------------2-3-2-|-------------------3-2---|
|-2-------|-4-------|-----------------x-2-2-2-|-----------------x-2-2---|
|-0-------|-4-------|-------------------2-2-2-|-------------------2-2---|
|---------|-2-------|-----0-------0-----------|-------------0-----------|
|---------|---------|-3h5---0-3b--------------|-3h5---0-3b--------------|
Play all that again, omitting the last two bars the second time.
The following is played for the pre-chorus ("And it all begins.."):
+ + + + + + + + + + + +
|------------------|---------|-------3---------------3---|
|---10-9-----------|---------|-------2---------------2---|
|-9------9-9-------|-7-------|-------2---------------2---|

|-0--0------0-0-0-0-0-----0-|-7--------7-------|-5-------|-------x\|

Chorus:
+ + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + +
|---------|---------|-----------------|---------|---------|---------|

The fills from the first two verses are approximated in the next verse by synth
and acoustic twelve string guitar. The electric comes back in on "Don't need no
fortune teller".
The first 6 bars of the solo are doubled an octave above by synth. There's 4
things you could do about this:
a) Forget about it
b) Play it an octave up. This will be played something like this:
+ +
-10p9-------------
--------10--------
----------11--12--
------------------
------------------
------------------
c) Get a friend to play it an octave up as above whilst you play the lower bit
d) Use an octave pedal or a pitch shifter set at an octave above. Don't forget
to turn it off after 6 bars, though
Solo:

This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP, representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are "hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the official ROXETTE tablature which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route. These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the NY Times Article. We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
