MISOGYNY
RUSTY
It's off their "fluke" album.
It sounds like the band used two guitars to record this song,
both arranged at a different tone. Thats probably why the
distortion is so wierd.
It's tuned 1/2 step down
Intro and main riff:
F#5 E5 C#5 A#5
e:--------- --------------------------------------------
B:--------- --------------------------------------------
G:--------- --------------------------------------------
D:--4\2-22- -/11-11-11-11-11-11-11-11---2-2-2-4-4-6-6---
A:--4\2-22- -/11-11-11-11-11-11-11-11---2-2-2-4-4-6-6---
E:--2\0-00- -/9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9----0-0-0-2-2-4-4---
Verse:
C#5
e:------------------------------------
B:------------------------------------
G:------------------------------------
D:--11-11-11-11-11-11-11-11-11-11-11--
A:--11-11-11-11-11-11-11-11-11-11-11-- ...and so on
E:--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9---
^ ^
The verse sometimes does this slight variation
C#5 Cb5
e:-----------------------------------------
B:-----------------------------------------
G:-----------------------------------------
D:--11-11-11-11-11-11-11-11-11\9/11-11-11--
A:--11-11-11-11-11-11-11-11-11\9/11-11-11-- ...and so on
E:--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9-\7/9--9--9---
^ ^
Then comes this part:
E5 Cb5 F#5 C#5
e:--------0----------------------------------
B:---------0--------------------------------- After the second
G:------------------------------------------- time they play
D:----2------2----9-9--4--4-4-4--4/11-11-11-- this, go to the
A:----2-----------9-9--4--4-4-4--4/11-11-11-- chorus...
E:----0-----------7-7--2--2-2-2--2/9--9--9---
oh uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuup side down
Chorus:
I'll start the chorus at this part so the tab is clearer
Cb5 C#5
e:-------------------------------------------
B:------------------------------------------- the rythm is way
G:------------------------------------------- off here, but
D:--9/11-11--9/11-11--9/11--9/11-11--9/11-11- you get the idea
A:--9/11-11--9/11-11--9/11--9/11-11--9/11-11-
E:--7/9--9---7/9--9---7/9---7/9--9---7/9--9--

A:----2--------------9-9--4--4-4-4---9/11-11--9/11-11--9/11-
E:----0--------------7-7--2--2-2-2---7/9--9---7/9--9---7/9--
and if you ask the cruellest sole
(etc)
Then:
A#5 F#5
e:---------------------------------------------------
B:---------------------------------------------------
G:---------------------------------------------------
D:--6-6-6-6-6-6-6-4-4-4-4-4-4-4-4--9/11-11--9/11-11-- etc
A:--6-6-6-6-6-6-6-4-4-4-4-4-4-4-4--9/11-11--9/11-11--
E:--4-4-4-4-4-4-4-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2--7/9--9---7/7--9---
Meanwhile, the second guitar makes a very distorted sound
that
can be achieved by lightly sliding your finger up or down
between the 2nd and 6th fret on the low E string...
And finaly:
e:----------------------------------------------------
B:----------------------------------------------------
G:----------------------------------------------------
D:--6-6-6-6-6-6-6-6-4-4-4-4-4-4-4-4-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2---

LYRICS:
He veers, she fears, he's coming home to box her ears
oh, upside down
Welfare takes care, of all the women in his lair
oh, upside down
And is you ask the cruellest sole, sole
You can't expect him to be home, be home
You'll always ask for one more try, try
You'll always ask for one more......
yeyeyeyeyeyeyeeeeeaaaaaahhhhh!!!!
She scrubs, he comes, she holds in her self for months
oh, upside down
He's bored, she scored, the blade has got a life that's torn
oh, upside down
(chorus)
It's bad luck, man it sucks, she's been impressed who gives a
fuck
oh, upside down
She's tired, growing tired, he's gonna rip her up inside
oh, upside down
(chorus)
Oh,upside down
And if you ask the cruellest sole, sole
You can't expect him to be home, be home
He'll always ask for one more try, try
He'll always ask for one more try, try
You'll always give him one more.......
YEYEYEYEYEYEYEEEEEEEEAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
Thats about it. This is as close as i can get to the real
thing. I saw them live three times, and i think this is how
Scott plays it. But still, if you think i'm dead wrong about
this tab, send me corrections.
Enjoy,
J.P.
This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official RUSTY tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
