Notes- CAPO ON 3RD. All chords and tabs relative to the capo. Meaning, I am
pretending the capo is the top of the guitar. I recommend finger picking.
Use your thumb for the E, A, and D strings and your index, middle, and ring
finger for the G, B, and e strings. Riff 3 and Solo 3 are incomplete. If
anyone can completely figure them out please e-mail me the tab. One more
thing, throughout the song, The Samples play variations of the following

Song/Lyrics:
-----------
[O'kay, this should be pretty simple. On the left you see what riff to play
while you sing the words on the right.]
Intro
Riff 1: Another starry night is above us
Riff 1: For the last ten million years it's been the same
Riff 2: In a moment's notice
Riff 1: not a stone unturned that someone didn't claim
Riff 2: who am I to know this,
Riff 2: who am I to care
Riff 2: All the streets are sinking
Riff 1: cause the world goes half the speed of what it takes
Riff 2: and the wires from somewhere
Riff 1: sending signals to our homes from outer space
Riff 2: who am I to know this,
Riff 1: who am I to care
Riff 1: From the warmth of being fine
Riff 1: to defending battle lines
Solo 1
Riff 2: in a car on the freeway
Riff 1: broken down from some new form of gasoline
Riff 2: in the door she's waiting
Riff 1: living up to every diamond in that ring
Riff 2: who am I to love you,
Riff 2: who am I to care
Riff 2: who am I to know this.
Riff 1: who am I to care
Solo 2
Riff 3: Another starry night is above us
Riff 1: Another starry night is above us
Riff 1: For the last ten million years it's been the same
Riff 2: in a moment's notice
Riff 1: not a stone unturned that someone didn't claim
Riff 2: who am I to love you,
Riff 2: who am I to care
Riff 2: who am I to know this,
Riff 2: who am I to breath
Riff 1: From the warmth of being fine
Riff 1: to defending battle lines
Solo 3

This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP, representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are "hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the official SAMPLES tablature which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route. These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the NY Times Article. We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
