Rhy Fig. 1a
w/Rhy Fig. 1b
So in time the memories are wasted,
And all of the lies that cut me deep inside.
w/Rhy Fig. 1a
And now the only way through, taken my heart,
and burned it inside out.
So many friends with so much good advice.
w/Rhy Fig. 1a
The pain will disappear, and so I face the war alone,
and I want, no one, I feel so much.
Dm Am
Because it's wasted, how can you face me?
C
You couldn't make me hate you any more.
G Dm Am
It's wasted, it's wasted, how can you face me?
C
Given me heaven then you cut me down.
G
It's wasted.

| Dm | Am | C | G | Dm |
And so I find, the hopes for you were wasted,
a part of the soul is dark, that used to be.
The light of hope and glory.
People you know, you turned me inside out.
I'm not gonna share the great longevity,
the dreams will never be.
And so I'll face them all alone.
And I want, no one, I feel,
That it's wasted. How can they face me?
You couldn't make me hate you any more.
It's wasted, it's wasted, how can you face me?
Given me heaven then you cut me down.
It's wasted.

It's wasted.

Spoken (by Winston Churchill):
"What General Weygand has called The Battle of France is over. The Battle
of Britain is about to begin. Hitler knows that he will have to break us
in this island, or lose the war. If we can stand up to him, all Europe may
be free. The light of the world may move forward, to broad sunlite uplands.
But if we fail... then the whole world will sink into the abyss of a new
dark age. Let us therefore brace ourselves to our duty... So bear
ourselves,
that if the British Empire and Commonwealth lasts for a thousand years, men
will still say 'This was their finest hour'!"

This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official SAUNDERS LEE tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
