LYRICS
V1:Do you know yourself, do you know the others.
Can you pull the weight that rides on another's shoulders.
And once you've lost yourself to the acceptance mask,
well could you find yourself, it's not a simple task.
CH:Self-inherence, freedom, comes from within.
V2:Take a different track, it's time to see what you are made of.
Can you expose yourself, can you peel off another layer.
And will you make the time, the time to take control,
because only you can save yourself, only you can save your soul.
V3:And once you save yourself, insecurities will die, genuine qualities,
and true character will shine.
Now that you belong to you, what will the others think, well,
soon they'll follow you, you'll see they're all so weak.
BR/O:Come on, can you, let go, can you, be you.
Since I can't find any Snapcase tabs on the net,
I thought I'd tab CABOOSE from their most recent album.
PLAY THIS SONG WITH HEAVY DISTORTION!!!!!!
(email me at patersod@singnet.com.sg if I messed up)
This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official SNAPCASE tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
