High School seemed like such a blur
G C D
I didn't have much interest in sports or school election
G C D
and in class I dreamed all day
G C D
'bout a rock & roll weekend.
Chorus---
G C D
Life goes by so fast
G C D
you only wanna do whatcha think is right.
G C D
Close your eyes and its past.
G C D
Story of my liiiiiiiiiife.
******I hope your the picture by now*************
******Here are the rest of the words*************
2.
Well I went downtown to look for a job
I had no training no experience to speak of
and I looked at the holes in my jeans
and turned and headed back.
3.
Well I went down to the old neighborhood
the faces had all changed nobody left to talk to
and the pool hall I loved as a kid
is now a 7/11.
4.
Good time come and good times go.
I only wish the goodtimes would last a little longer.
I was thinking of the good times we had
and why they had to end...........
So I sit at the edge of my bed
I strum my guitar and I sing an outlaw love song.
Thinking of what your doing now
and when your coming back.
THATS ALL!!!!!
Any other Social D songs you know put them on here.
If anyone knows Lost Child please send it to me!!!!Prison Bound too.
This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official SOCIAL DISTORTION tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
