SOUL ASYLUM - "Gone Till November" Tablature
Official SOUL ASYLUM Tablature & Sheet Music »
Artist: Soul Asylum
Title: Gone Till November
Album: (none that i know of, just a live cover)
I guess Soul Asylum did a live cover of this Wyclef Jean song a while ago. Personally, I like this one better than the original...
I make no claims for the accuracy of these tabs. This is just what i figured sounded decent. I looked everywhere for tabs for this song, but i couldn't find any, so i thought i'd post this in hopes someone else might make a better version. CORRECTIONS ARE EXPECTED AND MORE THAN WELCOME!

Intro:
slide up and down between chords
(i find it helps to mute the low e and a strings with my thumb)

and from there you just repeat the whole thing. I know the stumming isn't exact, but it works... just strum however you want.
i can't quite figure out what he's doing the first verse, but i think it involves one or more of the chords in the above section.
Chorus:
C C
I'll be gone till November... Tell my girly i'll be gone...
G G
I'll be gone till November... Tell my girly i'll be gone...
C C
January, February... I hear you cryin'...
G G D
I'll be gone till November... gone till Novemb---
can't quite get the rapping part either, but after that he just plays close to the intro for the verse, i think. So if anybody can figure out more complete or better sounding tabs, i'd appreciate it, thanks. Have a good day.
This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official SOUL ASYLUM tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
