STABBING WESTWARD - "happy" Tablature
Official STABBING WESTWARD Tablature & Sheet Music »
Artist: Stabbing Westward
Song: Happy
Album: Stabbing Westward
Released: 2001

This is definitely one of the easier songs to play off the
self-titled album. You'll need two guitars for this either
way you cut it, an acoustic for the rhythm section and an
electric to play the covering riffs and the lead. Have fun.

Lyrics:
Verse 1:
I know you've grown to hate me,
Even more than you have grown to hate yourself.
But has it really made a difference,
Sharing all that hate with someone else?
Chorus:
Please tell me are you really happy?
Do you think he's really worth the pain?
Tell me are you really happy?
Or did you simply throw our life away, just to be unhappy?
Verse 2:
Does he worship and adore you?
Does he make you feel so beautifully complete?
Is your life so much better now?
Or do those same old demons haunt your sleep?
Chorus:
Please tell me are you really happy?
Do you think he's really worth the pain?
Tell me are you really happy now?
Or did you simply throw our life away, just to be unhappy?
Just to be unhappy...
Verse 3:
Is he everything you've dreamed of?
I imagine he is so much more than me.
And I tried to make you happy.
But I believe you thrive on misery.
Chorus:
So please tell me are you really happy?
Do you think he's really worth the pain?
Tell me are you really happy?
Or did you simply throw our life away, just to be unhappy?
Just to be unhappy...
Just to be unhappy...
Just to be unhappy...
This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP, representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are "hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the official STABBING WESTWARD tablature which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route. These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the NY Times Article. We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
