Save Yourself
by Stabbing Westward
Written by Stabbing Westward
>From the album Darkest Days
Tabbed by Brock La Voie
Drop D tuning then tune down another half step.
*=harmonics
g/=gradual slide
ghb=gradual half bend
The rhythm on this song is very easy but I think the harmonic
sound is programmed because when I saw them play, it didn't look
like Marcus was playing a harmonic, but what I have sounds ok. Also,
on the bridge, I'm not sure so if you have a correction, let me know.

Lyrics:
I know your life is empty
And you hate to face this world alone
So you're searching for an angel
Someone who can make you whole
I cannot save you, I can't even save myself
I know that you've been damaged
Your soul has suffered such abuse
but I am not your savior
I am just as fucked as you
I cannot save you, I can't even save myself
Please don't take pity on me
My life has been a nightmare
My soul is fractured to the bone
So if I must be lonely
I think I'd rather be alone
You cannot save me, You can't even save yourself
I cannot save you, I can't even save myself
So just save yourself
Well, that's what i got. If you have comments, corrections, or
questions,
just e-mail me, and i'll clear it up as soon as i can.

This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official STABBING WESTWARD tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
