E* E*
E A
Sheets of empty canvas
E A
untouched sheets of clay
E A
Her legs spread out before me
E
as her body once did
E A
Oooh all five horizons,
E A
revolved the rims of the sun (as the earth with the sun)
E A
Now the air I tasted and breathed,
E
has taken a turn
C Em
Oooh and all I taught her was... everything
C Em
Oooh I know she gave me all... that she wore
D
And now my bitter hands
C
Shake beneath the clouds
Em
Of what was everything
D C
All the pictures had all been washed in black
Em E
Tatooed everything.
E A
I take a walk outside
E A
and I'm surrounded by some kids at play
E A
uuh I can feel their laughter
E
So why do i see
C Em
Oooh and twisting thoughts then spin round my head (I'm spinnin')
C Em
Oooh I'm spinnin' how quick the sun can drop away
D
And now my bitter hands
C
chained on broken glass
Em
of what was everything
D C
All the pictures had all been washed in black
Em
Tatooed everything
D
All my love gone bad
C*
turned my world to black
D
tatooed all I see
C*
All that I am
Em D C*
All I'll ever beeeeeeeeeeee yeaahheah
Em D C*
Oooh Oooh Uuuh
Em
I know some day you'll have a beautiful life
D
I know you'll be the sun,
C* Em D
In somebody elses sky, but whyhy, whyhy whyhy
C* Em D C*

This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official STAIND tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
