STAIND - "epiphany3" Tablature
Official STAIND Tablature & Sheet Music »
This is truly a great song, and I doubt that very many (if any)of you
know the true meaning behind Aaron Lewis's lyrics. The tab that
"Sadblueknight@aol.com" has been the best, although the
'G' chord he has listed is not too acurate. Here is his version with
my "new-and-improved" chord this is the actual chord that Aaron uses:
artist: Staind
song: Epiphany
album: Break the Cycle (2001)
Dropped D Tuning, down half step
Chords :
D G Bm
Eb---------------------------------
Bb-------2-----------------------3-

D
Your words to me just a whisper
G
Your faces so unclear
D
I try to pay attention
G
Your words just seem to disappear
Chorus
Bm G
Ahhh ooo Cuz its alwasys rainin in my head
Bm G
Forget All the things I should have said
Verse 2
So I speak to you in riddles
because my words get in my way
I smoke the whole thing to my head
and I feel it wash away
Cause I cant take anymore of this
I want to come apart
Or dig my self a little hole inside
your precious heart
Chorus
Verse 3( I still hate you bastards)
I am nothing more than a little boy inside
that cries out for attention
though I always try to hide
And I talk to you like children
but I dont know how I feel But I Know
Ill do the right thing
If the right thing is revealed
Chorus
But its always rainig in my head
Forget all the things
I should have said
This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official STAIND tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
