I can assure you this tab is 100% correct, but if you disagree, have any comments or questions
or just want to say hey, e-mail the above address and I'll do my best to reply. If you just want
to know my A/S/L, (as that seems to be all I ever get in response to my tabs), than I am an 18
year old girl and I live in Bath, in the South West of England. Oh, and I've been playing for
about 8 months.
This song should be played on an acoustic, but also sounds quite nice played cleanly on an
electric. It's also really simple to understand as there are only four chords and it's the
same progression all the way through, so I didn't really see the point in actually tabbing it
out, so I've just written it with the chord changes above.
Tuning:
Db, Ab, Db, Gb, Ab, Db
(C#, G#, C#, F#, G#, C#)
However, you can play this in the dropped 'D' tuning (standard tuning with lowest E string
tuned down to D, for those that are unsure) and it still sounds pretty much the same and
saves you pissing about for ages.
Chords:
D5 000200
Gsus2 5x0200
Bsus2 99 11xxx
Gsus2 (type 2) 550000
Tempo - 74, moderately slow
Intro:
D5 Gsus2 D5 Gsus2
Verse 1
D5 Gsus2
Your words to me just a whisper, your faces so unclear.
D5 Gsus2 (slide up to next chord)
I try to pay attention, your words just disappear.
Chorus
Bsus2 Gsus2 (type 2) (slide)
Huh, huh, cause it's always raining in my head.
Bsus2 Gsus2 (type 2)
Huh huh, forget all the things I should have said.
Interlude:
D5 Gsus2
Verse 2 (same chord progression as before throughout)
So I speak to you in riddles, cause my words get in my way.
I smoke the whole thing to my head and feel it wash away.
Cause I can't take any more of this, I wanna come apart
or dig my self a little hole inside your precious heart.
Chorus (as before)
Verse 3 (same as before )
I am nothing more than, a little boy inside
that cries out for attention, yet I always try to hide.
Cause I talk to you like children though I don't know how I feel.
But I know I'll do the right thing, if the right thing is revealed.
Chorus (as before)
Outro:
D5 (for four bars or so and then end)

And thats it, hope it was helpful. (^.^)

This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official STAIND tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
