Official STAIND Tablature & Sheet Music »
Artist: Staind
Song: Epiphany
Album: Break The Cycle (2000)
Tuning: Db Ab Db Gb Ab Db
I've seen many ways to play this song on -mxtabs.net-. For example
I've seen this song in Drop D. I've seen this song played in standard tuning.
I've read a correction saying this song is even played with capo on second fret.
ALL WRONG. This song is played with the DADGAD tuning half-step down
(Db-Ab-Db-Gb-Ab-Db).
Tuning: tune low E string down one and a half step
tune A, G, D string down half a step
tune both the B and high E string down one and a half steps down
Rythym: Soft Acoustic (63)

Lyrics:
Your words to me just a whisper
Your face is so unclear
I try to pay attention
Your words just disappear
Chorus:
Cause it's always raining in my head
Forget all the things I should have said
So I speak to you in riddles
Cause' my words get in my way.
I smoke the whole thing to my head
and feel it Wash away 'cause I
can't take anymore Of this
I want to come apart
or dig myself a little hole
inside your precious heart
Chorus:
Cause it's always raining in my head
Forget all the things I should have said
I am nothing more than
A little boy inside
That cries out for attention, yet I
always try to hide
Cause' I talk to you like children though I
don't know how I feel but I
know I'll do the right thing
If the right thing is revealed
Chorus:
Cause it's always raining in my head
Forget all the things I should have said
This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official STAIND tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
