When you play this, start off as a Bb chord starting on the 5th fret
for the 2 D's, then move down 2 frets but keep you fingers like a Bb
starting at the 3rd fret. Then, for the 2 G chords, play it like an
F chord starting on the 3rd fret. This just continues throughout the
whole song except for when he goes "close your eyes girl…."

Close your eyes girl, look inside girl, let the sound take you away….
After the last time he sings "...sound take you away..." it goes from
a G to an E. That's pretty much the whole song.

representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official STEPPENWOLF tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
