VERSE 4
Another winter comes...
VERSE 5
And all these differences...
BRIDGE
Ok, it gets pretty noisy here...haven't bothered to figure it all out.
Since I'm playing it by myself (and don't want it to sound naked), I'm
jumping into a few chords (given below). I repeat it for each of the
retorical question verses, through "mast without a sail".
Esus2 E
What is the force that binds the stars?
Esus2/A E/A
I wore this mask to hide my scars
Esus2 E
What is the power that pulls the tide?
Esus2/A E/A
Never could find a place to hide
Esus2 E
What moves the Earth around the sun?
Esus2/A E/A
What could I do but run, and run, and run?
Esus2 E
Afraid to love, afraid to fail
Esus2/A E/A
A mast without a sail
VERSE 6
F#
The moon's a fingernail, and slowly sinking.
C# D#m
Another day begins, and now I'm thinking.
B C#
That this indifference was my invention.
D#m C#
Since everything I did sought your attention.
Repeat verse 6 for the following:
VESRE 7
Your were my compas star. You were my measurer.
You were a pirate's map of burried treasure.
If this was all correct, the last thing I'd expect.
The prosicution rests, it's time that I confessed,
F#sus4 F#
I must have loved you...

This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP, representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are "hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the official STING tablature which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route. These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the NY Times Article. We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
