Subject: Corrections: Lyrics/Sublime/Boss Dj
basically the chords are G and C with the bridge shifting from C to D
theres a steel train comin through
and i would take it if i could
and i would not lie to you because
sunday morning soon will come when
things will be much easier to say
upon the microphone like a boss dj
and i won't walk upon the sea like it was dry land (sometimes he sings like i
was john lennon)
a boss dj ain't nothing but a man
no trouble no fuss i know why
its so nice i want to hear the same song twice (2x)
because i'm spendin up all my money
its just stones and sticks
upon the microphone is where i go to get my fix
just let your lovin take a hold cause it will if you let it
i'm funky not a junkie but i know where to get it
no trouble no fuss i know why
its so nice i want to hear the same song twice (2x)
oh wee girl (4x)
and now there really ain't time to wait
really ain't no time to hate
ain't got no time to wait time to hate
really got no time to make the time go way
so mr dj don't stop the music cause
i want to know are you feeling the same way too
i want to rock it with you girl you girl you girl you ohoh girl
oh don't stop because
its so nice i want to hear the same song twice
nowadays the songs on the radio all
all drive me crazy
This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official SUBLIME tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
