SUNNA - "Im Not Trading" Tablature
Official SUNNA Tablature & Sheet Music »
Band: Sunna.
Song: I'm Not Trading (single version).
Album: One Minute Science.
Tabbed by Ben Wright (yoda13@another.com).
In 5/4 timing which you don't see very often. It isn't that hard
as there are only a few different parts through the whole song.
However I am not 100% sure but I'm fairly confident.
The Key:
BA = Bass.
SN = Snare.
LT = Low Tom.
HT = High Tom.
FT = Floor Tom.
RC = Ride Cymbal.
RB = Ride Bell.
This is the only real part of the whole song. Its played during the
verses, chorus and the intro after the strange voice effects at the
beginning of the song.
RC: x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-
HT: ------------------x-
LT: --------x-----------
SN: --xx--x-----xx--x---
BA: x----x----x----x----
This part is the bridge after the first chorus and before the second
verse. Not really sure how this is done but I think this is it.
RB: x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-
FT: ----------x-------x-
BA: x--------x----------
RB: x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-----
SN: ----------------x-x-
FT: ----------x---------
BA: x--------x----------
This is the chorus where the singer goes "Faith is going nowhere near you".
Now it's in 4/4 timing.
RC: x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-
FT: ------x-------x-
HT: -----x-------x--
LT: ----x-------x---
SN: x-x-----x-x-----
BA: x-x-----x-x-----
Order of the song:
Drums kick in approx 25 seconds into the song.
Main rhythm x 2 as intro.
Verse start ("I'm Not Trading"). Main rhythm x 7.
Chorus start ("I Don't Like You"). Main rhythm x 4.
Then it's the bridge once.
Repeat verse.
Repeat chorus.
2nd chorus ("Faith Is Going Nowhere"). x 4.
Verse only 2 times.
Repeat Chorus.
Solo. Main rhythm x 4.
Ending. x 7.
This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official SUNNA tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
