e-------------| |---------|
B-------------| |---------|
G-----8-8-8-7-| |-----7-8-|< this part isn't right
D-0-0---------| |-0-0-----| but I can't figure out
A-0-0---------| |-0-0-----| what it is, and this works
D-0-0---------| X3 |-0-0-----|
. . . .
this palm mute is special, mute the strings about 2-3 finger
width's from the bridge. That should produce the proper sound.
RIFF B
0:44 - 1:06 (chorus)
e--------------------------------------|
B--------------------------------------|
G-55555555-3333-2222-22222222022222222-|

G-------------|
D-1*--111-111-|
A-1*--111-111-|
D-1*--111-111-| X4
... ...
For the above part, the 111 means tremelo
strumming while holding the first fret,
Paul plays it down-up-down very quickly, twice.
Regular palm mute here.
2:12 - 2:45 RIFF D

B-----------|
G-----------|
D-0*-1-3-0*-| X4
A-----------|
D-----------|
*=sustained note, hold it and let it ring.
This next part is tricky, you almost have to see Paul
do it in person to have any idea what's going on.
It SOUNDS like a piano chord on the cd, but infact it's
a guitar part. And here it is.
2:45 - 3:40 RIFF E
e|-x-| This is played above the nut, not even on
B|-x-| the neck/fretboard of the guitar, Paul plays a 6
G|-x-| string guitar, with half the strings fastened on
each side of the guitar head, Paul only strikes
the 3 thinnest strings. Practice it until it sounds right.
RIFF E CONT'D:
e-x-x-| This is played right where the strings
B-x-x-| come out of the guitar body, or the 'bridge'
G-x-x-| mute the strings and do an upstroke. You should get
D-x-x-| a tapping/clicking sound.
3:40 - 4:05
RIFF F
e-----|------|
B-----|------|
G-----|---7--| the first half of this is right
D-1-3-|-1----| the 1/7 part is off, but I'm not sure
A-----|-1----| what it actually is.
D-----|-1----|
.
RIFF A Again
4:28 - 4:50
RIFF G
e----------------|
B----------------|
G----------------|
D-12-3-8-7-10-12-| each of these powerchords
A-12-3-8-7-10-12-| are strummed several times
D-12-3-8-7-10-12-| listen for speed/number
I've corrected this riff, it's pretty darn close to correct.
4:50 - 5:12
RIFF H
e--------------------------------------|
B-7777777-9999999-1111111111-99999999--|
G----------------(^11s not 1s)---------| X3
I know for a fact that this one is right.
5:12 - 5:24
RIFF I
D-0--0--1-0--1--0-0--111-111-| this may not be right
A-0--0--1-0--1--0-0--111-111-|
D-0--0--1-0--1--0-0--111-111-|
... ... <-palm mute
AND
D-0--0--1-0--1--0-0--1-1-1-1-| this riff isn't
A-0--0--1-0--1--0-0--1-1-1-1-| 100 percent
D-0--0--1-0--1--0-0--1-1-1-1-| correct
. . . .
D-0--0--1-0--1--0-1-|
A-0--0--1-0--1--0-1-|
D-0--0--1-0--1--0-1-|
AND YOU'RE DONE! YAY!
Cool song, pretty easy to play and sounds good.
If you play this tab and it doesn't sound right,
check your tuning or check that you're playing the tab right.
My tabs are usually pretty accurate.

This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official TALLMAN tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
