This song has two guitar parts,
Since I don't know two two apart,
I'll include whatever I can of either
In one tab.
INTRO:
D-5*-7*---8*-9*---5-7*---8*--7-|
A------------------------------|
D------------------------------|
guitar one plays this
D-0*-|-5-7-8-7*-|-------|
A-0*-|----------|-1-3-7-|
D-0*-|----------|-------|
^g2 ^g1 ^g2
D-0*-|-8-7-5-7-8-7-7-9-|
A-0*-|-----------------|
D-0*-|-----------------|
The verse riff is only one guitar,
but I can't hear it very well so I can only guess.
Here's my guess:
e---------------------------------|
B---------------------------------|
G---------------------------------|
D---------|-----------------------|
A-0-5-0---|-12-7-3-7h8p7--0-5-0---|
D-------0-|---------------------2-|
^repeat this a couple times
after all the verses.
e-----------------------|
B-----------------------|
G-----------------------|
D-0-0-3-2-1-0-3-2-1-2-2-|
A-0-0-3-2-1-0-3-2-1-2-2-|
D-0-0-3-2-1-0-3-2-1-2-2-|
this is the plam muted part after both verses.
It's close, if not correct.
This is the riff for
"And we're filtered through the sive..."
D-12*-12-12-12-12--12--12-12-12-|
A-12*-12-12-12-12--12--12-12-12-|
D-12*-12-12-12-12--12--12-12-12-|
followed by:
D-3-3-3-3-3/7-7-7-7-|
A-3-3-3-3-3/7-7-7-7-|
D-3-3-3-3-3/7-7-7-7-|
The next part is tricky, you have to get your
timing and your picking in check.
D-----------------------------------|
A-----------------------------------|
D-0-12-0-12--0-12-0-12-0-12-0-12-0--|
It's something like that followed by
D-3-3-3-3-3/7-7-7-7-|
A-3-3-3-3-3/7-7-7-7-|
D-3-3-3-3-3/7-7-7-7-|
I don't have the final riff, cause I haven't been able to figure it out...
with all the singing, drums, bass and heavy distortion,
it's virtually impossible to make out the different powerchord tones so...
hopefully the rest sounds good to you, I worked hard on it. Questions/comments/corrections can be sent to madaemanon@yahoo.com.
This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official TALLMAN tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
