THE SONG:
INTRO:
(Rhythm A x 2)
(Rhythm B x 2)
VERSE 1:
(Rhythm C x2)
Can't give it up, can't stop speaking my mind.
Got to say what I'm thinking all the time.
There's etiquette about what I should say, true.
But what the fuck I always do.
CHORUS 1:
(Rhythm A x 2)
Blah, blah, rhubarb, is all I hear of what you say.
Yak, yakking along, going strong in your own kind of way.
Skip, yipee I yay.
(Rhythm B x 2)
VERSE 1:
(Rhythm C x 2)
Speech on the telly spoiling christmas day.
Party broadcast saying the same thing in a different way.
Silence in the courtroom, silence in the street.
The biggest fool of them all, is now about to speak.
CHORUS 2:
(Rhythm A x 2)
Blah, blah, rhubarb, is all I hear of what you say.
Yak, yakking along, going strong in your own kind of way.
Skip, yipee I yay.
(Rhythm D x 1)
Yipee I yay, yipee I yay, I can hear what it says.
Yipee I yay, yipee I yay, yipee I yay, and it all sounds the same.
SOLO
CHORUS 3:
(Rhythm A x 2)
Oh yeah alright, oh yeah I'm sure it'll be O.K.
Just tagging along, not to strong in our own kind of way.
Skip yipee I yay.
(Rhythm E x 1)
Yipee I yay, yipee I yay, I can hear what it says.
Yipee I yay, yipee I yay, yipee I yay, and it all sounds the same.
Yipee I yay, yipee I yay, I can hear what it says.
Yipee I yay, yipee I yay, yipee I yay, and it all sounds the same.
OUTRO:
(Rhythm F x 1)
This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official TERRORVISION tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
