TESTEAGLES - "Propaganda" Tablature
Official TESTEAGLES Tablature & Sheet Music »
Artist: Testeagles
Song: Propaganda
Album: Chum
tuning: DGCFAD
The main riff in this song feels a bit weird to play at first, but once you get the hang of it
it's pretty easy. If you don't understand anything just listen to the CD or email me.
Intro: (2 times, w/heavy distortion)
D:-----------------------------
A:-----------------------------
F:-----------------------------
C:-2---------------------------
G:-2---------------------------
D:-0----0-6-3-4----0-3-0-6-3-4-
Then the drums start and the guitar plays this 4 times:
D:-------------------------------
A:-------------------------------
F:-------------------------------
C:-2-----------------------------
G:-2-----------------------------
D:-0----0-6-3-4~~~-0-3-0-6-3-4---
1st verse: (4 times)
P.M.-----------------------| P.M.----------------------|
D:---------------------------------------------------------
A:---------------------------------------------------------
F:---------------------------------------------------------
C:---------------------------------------------------------
G:---------------------------------------------------------
D:-0----0-6-3-4----0-3-0-6-3-4---0----0-6-3-4----0-3-0-6-3-
Every second time the riff above is played, after playing the last note play this:
D:-------
A:-------
F:-------
C:-------
G:-------
D:-4--5--
After you play that 4 times, it goes into the heavier bit of the verse: (4 times)
D:---------------------------------------------------------
A:---------------------------------------------------------
F:---------------------------------------------------------
C:-2-----------------------------2-------------------------
G:-2-----------------------------2-------------------------
D:-0----0-6-3-4----0-3-0-6-3-4---0----0-6-3-4----0-3-0-6-3-
Again, every 2nd time after the last note you play:
D:-------
A:-------
F:-------
C:-------
G:-------
D:-4--5--
Chorus: (8 times)
D:-------------------------------
A:-------------------------------
F:-------------------------------
C:-2-----------------------------
G:-2-----------------------------
D:-0----0-6-3-4~~~-0-3-0-6-3-4---
Then this: (12 times, then after the 12th time play the first two notes again)
D:-------------
A:-------------
F:-------------
C:-------------
G:-------------
D:-4-3-0-6-3-0-
Pre-verse bit: (4 times)
D:-------------------------------
A:-------------------------------
F:-------------------------------
C:-2-----------------------------
G:-2-----------------------------
D:-0----0-6-3-4~~~-0-3-0-6-3-4---
After you have played the above riff 2 times, this fill comes in over it: (2 times). The lower
note on each chord is bent up so it is roughly the same pitch as the higher one. When you play
this pick each chord as fast as possible, as many times as you can (tremelo picking)
D:--------------
A:-12 ------15 -
F:-14^------17^-
C:--------------
G:--------------
D:--------------
After that, repeat from the start of the first verse, to the bit that you play 12 and a half
times. That's the end of the song. It's pretty much just two riffs except with some changes
like palm-muting through it. Enjoy!

This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official TESTEAGLES tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
