and the siren's song . . . . truth i can't escape
every thought that i repent there's another chip you haven't spent
and you're cashing it all in; where do we begin to get clean again
can we get clean again?
i walk home with you and the mood you're born in to sometimes you let me in
and i take it on the chin. i can't get clean again. i can't get clean again.
she takes a drink and then she waits the alcohol it permeates
and soon the cells give way and cancels out the day and i spin around
I can't keep it all together
I know, i know i know i know i know i know, i can't keep it all together
and the siren's song that is your madness holds a trugh i can't escape
all alone on your face
every glamorous sunrise throws the planets out of line
a star sign out of whack. a fraudulent zodiac.
and the god of wine comes crashing through the headlights of the car
and it took you farther then you ever thought you'd go
i can't get back again. we can't get back again.
and the god of wine is crouched down in your room you let me down i said it
now i'm going down, you're not even around and i spin around
I can't keep it all together
I know, i know i know i know i know i know, i can't keep it all together
and there's a memory of a window looking through i see you
searching for something i could never give you
there's someone who understands you more than i do
there's a silence i can't escape all alone on your face
the outro is

This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official THIRD EYE BLIND tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
