TOOL - "4 degrees2" Tablature
Official TOOL Tablature & Sheet Music »
I can't believe nobody tabbed this song yet. Well, anyway,
I'm not the master at it, and I don't have the book,
but this is what I've found out from screwing around late
at night. And it's really late now, so I'm going to be incredibly
lazy about this and not give you the solo or the pre-chorus.
Drop-D tuning
INTRO:
Clean guitar. Strum really, really hard. Put your tone selector
switch on treble to get those clangy overtones that make it
sound a little bit like a sitar.

As for the pre-chorus part, where he goes, "You won't feel
what you like to feel," I can't help you out there. It's
probably simple, but it's hard to get a handle on the pitch
because he runs it through some weird effect. The chorus is
just the intro section again, lightly distorted.
BRIDGE:
Distorted, strummed lightly

Have fun with this song. It's really great, and it sounds good
acoustic or electric. It's absolutely amazing how many different
kinds of sounds he can get out of the guitar with the same basic
chords! Anyway, I'm going to bed now. Keep on rockin'.

This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official TOOL tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
