Official TRAFFIC Tablature & Sheet Music »
From: aqualung@dartmouth.edu (aqualung)
I've included two versions of the song. I'm not sure how different, if
at all, they are. Hope this helps.

greetings:
someone asked for john barleycorn must die (as done by traffic),
so here it is (my first contribution :). i don't yet have the tab
for it (just not that good at tabbing in real time, so i haven't
tried to figure it out), so if anyone out there wants to give it
a shot....
rhythm follows as below, strum to suit yourself.

comments on the chords: B(4) is Bsus4 (224452) and i play the B as an
A two frets up (224442). the strumming pattern for the B chords is a
syncopated pattern. listen to the song, it's easy to play...
the rest of the verses follow the same pattern, and i don't have the
rest of the words (or the song to transcribe from) with me. :(
comments? please feel free to correct anything i botched and provide

This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official TRAFFIC tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
