G Em Cadd9
You got me a heartbreak sandwich when you went to college
G Em Cadd9
You got picked up and left to learn about the environment

I wanna forget you, didn´t wanna let you
G Cadd9
Leave town without tellin´ me were something you´ll remember
Em7 Cadd9 Asus C Em
And it all fell down when I didn´t call you up
Em7 Cadd9 Asus C
I hope now we can spend some honest time, if you come home...
G Em Cadd9
I know I gave you a dirt sandwich
G Em Cadd9
When you needed to cry and I wanted to kiss
G Em Cadd9
The picture we ended up painting was a both ? and^¿
a half eaten sandwich
G Em Cadd9
Meaning we alway took what we wanted and left the rest
Em7 Cadd9 Asus C Em
And it all fell down when I didn´t call you up
Em7 Cadd9 Asus C
I hope now we can spend some honest time, if you come home...
G, Em, Cadd9 (hold on a bit on last chord) ;repeat this two times.
G Cadd9
I don´t wanna forget you but I´m gonna let you
G Cadd9
Go on with your life while I thrust thru mine...

I´m not sure about some chords but it sounds pretty close.
Email me if you have any comments, also if you have some other Weston tabs.

This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official WESTON tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
