Subject: (fwd) TAB:"Slide It In" by Whitesnake
Here is a TAB for Whitesnake's "Slide It In". This is a great song and it's
very easy to play, so enjoy! I haven't typed in the whole song, but
it's basically the same riff through it all, so there's really no need.
Note: This is from the John Sykes version of the album. I'm not sure if all
the riffs and fills are the same on the Mel Galley/Micky Moody version.
You might want to turn down the gain a bit for this one.

Solo: I haven't written down the solo(mostly because I can't play it all:)),
but here is the rythm part behind it. It is a great chord progression to solo
over! Play it four times.
|------------|------------|-------------|-----------------| Last time play

|------------|------------|-2-----------|---3-3-3----5-5--|
|-3----------|-2----------|-0-----------|-----------------|
Then there is another verse and chorus, before the song ends like this.
|--------------|-------------|
|-6-----3------|-(3)---------|
|-5--5--2------|-(2)---------|
|-3--5--0------|-(0)---------|
|----3---------|-------------|
|--------------|-------------|
And that's it. I forgot to bring the lyrics, so you figure them out. As usual
I don't claim to have perfect pitch. This is how I play it, and if you find
any mistakes, please let me know OK?:)

This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official WHITESNAKE tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
